689 Tiktok and dermal fillers: A cross-sectional study on dermal filler-related content quality

With over one billion monthly users, Tiktok is of the most popular social media platforms globally. However, credibility medical advice presented on remains unclear. We present a cross-sectional study that aims to analyze reliability and quality videos published dermal fillers in 2022. Three relevant hashtags were searched including #filler (2.4 views), #dermalfiller (132.8 million #fillersinjection (137.0 views). 100 per hashtag search item met inclusion criteria rated by three independent reviewers using DISCERN instrument. The viewed each category as follows: (3.8 (11.3 (13.1 consistently scored low (score 1, 2, 3) when assessed for additional sources references content discussion risks alternate treatments. Over 40% under produced either non-medical provider or an online creator with vague credibility. Videos included promotional material, product placement, celebrity endorsements, little no contraindications filler.
